Unfortunately, Kali was heavily targeted by pirates shortly after its theatrical release in March 2016. A high-quality print of the film appeared on Filmyzilla and similar sites (like Tamilrockers and Movierulz) within weeks of its release.

Directed by Sameer Thahir (known for Chaappa Kurishu and Dia ), Kali tells the story of Siddharth (Dulquer Salmaan) and Anjali (Sai Pallavi), a young couple caught in a toxic cycle of anger and frustration.
