Sky Prog Programmer (often written SkyPROG, SkyProg, or SkyProg Programmer) refers to inexpensive USB-to-ICSP/parallel programmers used to read, write, and erase firmware on various microcontroller-based devices (EEPROMs, SPI flashes, MCU ICs) — commonly found in hardware repair, automotive ECUs, set-top boxes, satellite receivers, and hobby electronics. “Sky Prog” is a generic name used for several low-cost Chinese-made programmer dongles sold under different brands; many have similar functionality and share compatible software and adapters.
