This is where the extension enters the story.

Formed in 2006, Miss May I (often stylized as Miss May I) featured vocalist Levi Benton, guitarist/vocalist Justin Aufdemkampe, guitarist B.J. Stead, bassist Ryan Neff, and drummer Jerod Boyd. They were young—barely out of high school—when they signed to Rise Records.

The album's title, "Apologies Are for the Weak," sets the tone for the rest of the record, conveying a sense of resilience and defiance in the face of adversity. This theme is woven throughout the album, with each song tackling different aspects of struggle, perseverance, and self-empowerment.

However, the streaming versions have been remastered. Some purists argue that the original 2009 CD rip (the "RAR version") has a more dynamic range and feels less compressed. This is the primary reason collectors still scour forums for the original scene release.
