Held in a converted sentō (public bathhouse) in Kagurazaka, this monthly event blends a kaiseki dinner with immersive holographic kabuki. Using volumetric capture, long-dead actors from the Edo period perform newly commissioned plays alongside living nihon-buyō dancers. Each seat (there are only seven) features bone-conduction earphones and a sake cup warmed to the exact temperature of the performer’s skin. Cost: by barter—a rare vinyl record, a first-edition manga, or a new algorithm.
