Immediate risks

The data breach occurred in December 2018 and was publicly exposed in early January 2019 . Approximately 7.6 million unique user records were compromised after attackers exploited vulnerabilities in the site's phpBB forum software.

The breach included a wide range of personal and account-related information: User Credentials : Usernames, email addresses, and hashed passwords
