Windows Update often overwrites POS drivers. Reinstall the driver using the method above, then disable automatic driver updates for this device:
| Problem | Solution | |---------|----------| | | Restart Windows → Disable driver signature enforcement (Shift + Restart → Troubleshoot → Startup Settings → Disable driver signature enforcement). Then install. | | Printer shows as "Unknown USB device" | Uninstall the failed device in Device Manager → Unplug USB → Reboot → Reinstall driver → Reconnect printer. | | Printer prints garbage characters | Wrong driver emulation. Switch to EPSON TM-T88III driver (or generic ESC/POS). | | POS software doesn't see printer | Ensure you selected the correct Port (USB001, COM3, etc.) inside your POS settings (e.g., Loyverse, Square, Odoo). | Easypos Epr 301 Driver Download
