Female sex work, often referred to as prostitution, remains one of the most polarizing topics in modern society. While frequently vilified by moral, religious, and political institutions, it is a persistent global economic phenomenon driven by socioeconomic factors and, increasingly, digital technology. Today, debates around sex work are shifting from pure moral condemnation toward a more nuanced analysis that includes labour rights, economic empowerment, and, crucially, the safety and human rights of the individuals involved.
