In corporate environments, companies do not activate each PC individually via the internet. Instead, they set up an internal KMS host (a server running Microsoft’s Volume Activation Services). Every 180 days, each client computer contacts this local KMS server to renew its activation. This is legal, legitimate, and efficient for large organizations.
For users determined to activate without payment, is a newer, open-source alternative that uses HWID (for Windows 10/11) or Ohook (for Office). It is less intrusive than HEU KMS Activator because it does not run a background KMS service. However, this still violates Microsoft’s terms.
