While rumors sometimes circulate about labels "shelving" projects, JADE (Jade Thirlwall) successfully released her debut solo album, , through RCA Records on September 12, 2025. The track "Glitch" is a prominent experimental hyperpop and "futuristic R&B" song on that album.
Despite this setback, Jade Glitch remains committed to her craft. In an exclusive statement, she hinted at moving forward, possibly outside of the traditional label system. "This isn't the end. It's a glitch, but it's also a chance to reboot and find a new way to share my music with the world."
According to a source inside the label’s A&R department (who asked to remain anonymous for fear of “corporate wrath”), the album was shelved three days before the scheduled announcement.
