The A-Tier contains potent builds that are just a half-step below. The is a prime example. Combining Hunting’s "Study Prey" (which reduces enemy resistance) with Dream’s "Psionic Beam" (a high-damage projectile) creates one of the game’s best ranged attackers. The Haruspex has excellent damage and dodge-based defenses, but it lacks the Conqueror’s raw physical mitigation; a single lucky hit from a Giant or a pack of Machae archers can be fatal. Similarly, the Elementalist (Earth + Storm) offers some of the highest area-of-effect damage in the game, melting entire screens with "Volcanic Orb" and "Lightning Bolt."
